L'A Vieille Alpine pasture and refreshment bar - Eison
In an idyllic setting, you will find a renovated agritourism building housing a space promoting local products with a refreshment bar, as well as a horse shelter and “Chottes” converted into gîtes. L'A Vieille is located on a slightly sloping high plateau, directly above the village of Eison at an altitude of 2,400 meters.

The original hamlet, composed of buildings of equal size, presents a very homogeneous image and has retained its unique character. All of the buildings have been renovated in keeping with their original style. Some of the “chottes” serve as rural gîtes, and a shop selling local products with a refreshment bar has been created.

Lise and her team welcome you during the summer season to the refreshment bar on this mountain pasture, located above Suen, where you can taste local products. The owner, Lise, and her cheese are now such well-established names that they have helped to promote the project to revitalize the Loveignoz mountain pasture. This involved the construction of a new building between the barn and the shepherds' house, which serves as a refreshment bar, allowing Lise to promote and sell some of the 5,500 kg of raclette cheese and tommes she produces every summer in this magical place.
